Application
Single rubber expansion joint is a specially designed flexible connector used in a piping system to fulfil one or more of following
  • 锘匡豢Misalignment compensation
  • 锘匡豢Absorb pipe movement/stress
  • 锘匡豢Prevent & reduce stress due to expansion or contraction
  • 锘匡豢Reducing of system / mechanical noise
  • 锘匡豢Eliminate electrolysis between dissimilar metals
Construction
Single rubber expansion joints are manufactured from heat and chemical resisting elastomers reinforced with nylon cord fabric and steel wire/bars.

The integrally bonded flange faces provide a full face seal to the matching pipework flanges and can be reinforced with split or one-piece metal retaining flanges, split or one-piece metal retaining flanges.

The high arch can be "filled" to reduce flow turbulence and the build-up of conveyed solids inside the arch of the joint.
